Volunteer information sessions are designed as a question and answer platform where folks interested in becoming a CASA can learn more about the specifics of what a CASA does, the requirements to become one, and to explain the application process. Current advocates, members of the Board and other supporters are also encouraged to bring friends and family members who are interested in learning more about CASA. You don’t have to currently be connected to CASA or anyone with CASA to attend an information session.
The mission of CASA of North Texas is to provide volunteer advocates to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in protective foster care until each has a safe, loving and permanent home. In 2024, CASA of North Texas served 60 Cooke County children.
